a) Culture of Health in Business

Absolutely, Not. You do not need a department; you may assign someone in your company, a committee, maybe the leader of the business or just a health promotion coordinator (even part-time), to follow up on the Culture of Health in Your Business. However, if you wish to expand or to have a department with goals relative to your organization, CHBO can certainly assist you in this matter. Some organizations do want to have an autonomous department, other want to outsource to CHBO and others will progressively manage the Culture of Health in Business. It all depends on the size, goals of the organization/business.

b) FlexReport

FlexReport is the first integrated prompt step, towards PreCertification or Certification. The participant organization is guided through a quick straight, easy effective, comprehensive online survey/assessment, with around 200 --yes/no questions in relation to the Culture of Health in Business or any related health and safety essentials in the organization. The FlexReport is a complete process-evaluation --We will assess, identify key elements, make recommendations, provide feedbacks to evaluate your strengths/weaknesses and to propose the recommended actions (FlexReport is not a judgmental evaluation). FlexReport is included as a free of charge element of the Certifications (both levels) costs, however; the certification has a fee

Receiving our FlexReport is a valuable opportunity for organizations to assess and improve consumer health, employee health, community health and the environmental health to a better performance and progress of your organization, and as an indicator of the Socioeconomic status (SES) in general.

Once the FlexReport assessment survey is fully completed (200+ evaluation questions) and submitted by the participant organization, it will take between three to four-business days to receive evaluation-results of the FlexReport. The FlexReport will be sent to the provided email. The FlexReport is not an automated evaluation, the score assessment is automated, but the evaluation may be adapted to your organization characteristics.

As soon as we receive your payment, within *24 hours, we will send your private password-protected link to start the FlexReport assessment. *It is usually less than 24 hours, depending on your geographical location, difference of business hours, load of requests… but it will not be more than 24 hours.

Once Your FlexReport-Evaluation is ready, we will email you a copy in PDF format, to consult it and check our recommendations and/or measurements. In the FlexReport, we will inform you, if you meet either the PreCertification or the Certification of the Culture of Health in Business; from there, it is entirely up to you, to claim and acknowledge your status of the PreCertification or the Certification. There will be no obligation and you can keep your FlexReport. Once the request order/renew of any certification is paid, no refund will be issued.

The FlexReport evaluation is around 30 pages easy to read dashboard --Pressure-Free. We offer three types of flexible solutions.
1. The implementation of our recommendations by your business.
2. The implementation of our recommendations by subcontracting through CHBO.
3. Implementing your own choice of recommendations by your business.
All these must be sustained by the Conformity Assurance-Assessment, of our Pillars in the Culture of Health in Business to obtain either certification..


c) Certification

The business must first undertake the FlexReport Assessment/survey; based on the results, you will be either fully Certified (highest level) or PreCertified. --Preview certification page CHBO Certificate.

Meaning: The enterprise is engaged with the process of Conformity Assurance-Assessment to reach and to sustain the valuable Pillars of the Culture of Health in Business, towards obtaining (highest) CHBO Certification or to remain in the PreCertification status. Either Certification is renewed on an annual basis on the anniversary of your certification being granted.

Let’s suppose, that you are PreCertified CHBO, but in the 7th month, you feel that you are qualified to upgrade for the Certified CHBO, you will have to continue as PreCertified for the remaining 5 months; on the anniversary of the next calendar year of your certification, you can order/renew; your organization will then be Certified CHBO, upon approval by our Conformity Assurance-Assessment process. Your qualification/process and Conformity Assurance-Assessment towards Certified CHBO must stay in effect.

CHBO may ask to provide different basic verification informations, relevant to your Culture of Health in your Business to prove Conformity Assurance-Assessment that you are active in the relevant status. This cooperation will also be sustained by our Code of Ethics (including the reference "4.h" in our Code of Ethics). Our FlexReport will qualify the organization to the CHBO Certification (highest level) if your score is 70% and above; or to the CHBO PreCertification if your score is less than 70%..

When you become CHBO Certified, you are already established and you proved Conformity Assurance-Assessment with the Pillars of the Culture of Health in Business. Being PreCertified, means you are in the process to prove Conformity Assurance-Assessment of the Pillars of the Culture of Health in Business, this process requires more efforts and follow-ups (higher costs) from our organization.

CHBO is a non-profit organization. Our goal is not to impose or to dictate the Culture of Health in Business, but rather to encourage it… Through our Certifications - Conformity Assurance-Assessment, we are conveying the message that the business is taking the appropriate actions towards the health of its customers and potential clients, the health of its workers, the health of its community and the conservation of the environment… We do not administer or accept complaints, we do not enforce compliance, we do not dictate a program to follow, we do not audit (only on demand by the business), --we only Guide… therefore, our costs are relevant to the service we provide. We also abide by the Fair Pricing Policy of our Code of Ethics. Our principle “there are few advantages by not having the Culture of Health in Business certifications, but the disadvantages may be higher”.

Yes, an investment towards a healthy business, by being Certified CHBO does have associated costs. (PreCertified can be a very low commitment),but those costs often lower the employee’s health, disability and insurance costs..., lower turnovers, lower absenteeism and presenteeism; increases your productivity, profit and better brand reputation to your business…” Depending on your budget and organization status, we will work with You to find a value proposition relevant to your budget. You renew as a PreCertified, however if you meet the Conformity Assurance-Assessment to be Certified CHBO, you will receive your FlexReport and we will refund you the difference.

You renew as a Certified CHBO, however if your Conformity Assurance-Assessment is lesser/reduced to PreCertified CHBO, we will ask you to pay the difference: then you will receive your FlexReport.


d) Others

Our revenue will be reinvested to improve programs in the Culture of Health in Business to promote "taking good care" and protecting our health against any negative development, present or future in business operations, --to positively impact Consumer health, Employee health, Community health, Environmental health and Mature health.

As an example: Research towards the development of an app/software to predict and protect from future bad health conditions, before medication care. HealthCare is important, but Predictive Health is crucial. “Prevention is better than cure”. We will research & progress towards the science of health in business…

On a yearly basis, we offer the FlexReport for certifications to organizations. In addition, we offer extra consulting services such as --assessment of the business and employees, recommendations planning and budgeting to management. We offer follow-ups and guidance towards sustaining the Culture of Health in Business: beyond that, we do offer consulting services on demand.

It is as simple as it sounds. Our body is a well organized system; when our body is hungry, it is our right to feed it. When our body is tired, it must rest. When our body is sick, we have to treat it. When our body is dirty, we have to clean it…, just to name few examples. We need to protect our body from all possible damage; means it is our duty to take the necessary precautions and preventive measures against any harm, to our body health… therefore, our body has rights over us.
